Weddings

St Matthew's is a very popular venue for weddings and we are happy to help you arrange your wedding here, and discuss the present rules for marriage in church.

At present we do not have our own priest, but we are able to arrange for visiting clergy to conduct marriages. If you would like to know more or want to register your interest in arranging a wedding, please complete the form attached to this page (see link below) and we will contact you to arrange for someone to visit you to discuss the procedure.

We do encourage all couples wanting to marry here to attend one of our Marriage Preparation courses which we run from time to time. In this way we can explore together the meaning of Christian marriage.
